About Our History

When we first started out, our home was a small shed situated in Archerfield Airport. After years of developing all the skills we have today, we certainly felt the need to expand. Now, we operate out of a state of the art, custom-built warehouse in Parkinson, Qld.

We’ve worked hard to become the leading manufacturer of specialised roofing accessories in the country. Needless to say, it’s not a claim we make lightly. F&M Fabricators now employs over 80 staff, also operating the largest workshop of its kind in Australia.

Capabilities

One of our massive strengths is our in-house capabilities. Many suppliers of fabricated steel products will outsource the work that we can do in our workshop. This gives us a greater ability to deliver the products you need, because we know that time is money. Jobs like laser cutting, turret punching and powder coating are all done in-house, so you don’t have to wait extra time for a third party to prepare your products. See below a list of our premium machine capabilities.

Four (4) 8.1m x 1.6mm Twin Bend Slitter/Folders
These are the most advanced slitter/folders in the world, with the ability to bend some of the tightest profiles.
8.1m x 2.0mm Twin Bend Slitter/Folder
This is one of the heaviest capacity slitter/folders in the country, with the ability to bend up to 8.1m long and 2.0mm thick.
8.5m x 1.6mm Roller
This is also the heaviest capacity machine of its kind in the country, able to fold Half Round Gutters up to 8.5m long and 1.6mm thick. We can also roll Round Down Pipe up to 5.0m long.
Two (2) Automatic Slitting Lines, 5.0t
This is the most advanced slitting line in the country, with the capacity to take 5t coils. Its abilities include advanced nesting of cutting jobs and also programming of repetitive cutting.

Laser Cutting
We use our own in-house laser cutter. This enables fast turnaround on speciality brackets and other accessories. We also laser cut and stock the standard range of Half Round Gutter Brackets
Powder Coating
We also have our own in-house powder coating booth. This is why we can offer fast turnaround on speciality items.
CNC Turret Punching
Using our own in-house turret punching, we can also offer special punched and notched sections. This also comes with other speciality capabilities.
